Is it really everything for $99 a seat?
Yes. One plan, all access, CAD, points, surfaces, alignments, drone, LiDAR and locates. There are no tiers and no add-on modules; every seat on your team gets the whole product.
How do seats work?
A seat is a person who can sign in. You pay $99 CAD per seat per month, or $990 per seat per year, which is two months free. Add a teammate and the next invoice adjusts automatically; remove one and it adjusts down the same way. Roles like administrator or surveyor control permissions, never price.
What about drone processing?
Your subscription includes 500 photos of photogrammetry processing every month. After that it is $0.04 CAD per photo, paid from processing credits you top up, with the exact price shown before every job. A single job can hold up to 3,500 photos.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Monthly plans are month to month, yearly plans run to the end of the year you paid for, and either cancels from your billing page whenever you like. Your data stays exportable.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Backsight runs in the browser. Drawings, points, clouds and reports live in your workspace and open anywhere you sign in.
Is my data safe?
Every table is protected by row-level security, files live in private storage with signed URLs, originals are never overwritten, and issued reports are immutable and checksummed.
What reference systems are supported?
Canadian systems first: NAD83 Original and NAD83(CSRS) with UTM, 3TM and MTM projections, treated as distinct and never silently substituted. Heights convert only through a verified geoid model you install explicitly.
