Field-to-finish: linework from point codes
Turn coded shots into figures: curbs, fences, edges of pavement: without drawing them by hand.

How coding works
Points carrying the same figure code, in the order they were shot, become a line. Control characters in the code start a figure, end it, close it or curve it, the conventions a crew already uses in the field.
Drawing the figures
- Import or select the coded points.
- Run field-to-finish from the Points ribbon.
- Review what it found: each figure, its code, its point count.
- Draw them. They arrive as ordinary entities on their layers, editable like anything else you drew by hand.
Tip
Figures are real geometry once drawn. Restyle them, offset them, trim them, use them as breaklines in a surface.
