Inviting people

  1. Organization → Team → Invite.
  2. Type the email address and choose a role.
  3. They get an email with a link. When they accept, they land in your organization.

Note

Each teammate is a seat on the subscription, $99 a month or $990 a year, same all-access plan as yours. The next invoice adjusts automatically when someone joins or leaves.

What the roles mean

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything: billing, inviting and removing people, report branding, coordinate settings, geoid installs, drafting standards, and deleting the organization
AdministratorEverything the owner can, except delete the organization
Project managerSees every project in the organization; sets a project’s coordinate settings and maintains drafting standards (point styles, plot templates). Not members, billing or branding
Professional reviewer, Surveyor, Locator, Technician, ProcessorWork in the projects they have been added to, drafting, points, surfaces, imagery, clouds and locates alike. These roles name a person’s job on the team list; they do not narrow what that person can do inside a project they belong to
ClientView only. Sees everything in the projects they have been added to, drawings, points, surfaces, imagery, locates, files and reports, and changes none of it. A client is a person who can sign in, so they take a seat like any other member

Project membership is separate from organization role: being in the organization does not put somebody in every project. Owners, administrators and project managers see all projects; everyone else sees only the projects they are a member of.

Client is view only

A person with the Client role can open any project they are a member of and read all of it, but every tool that would change something is withheld, and the database refuses the change if it is attempted another way. To share one issued locate report without adding anybody to the organization (or paying for a seat), use the report’s portal link instead.

Branding

Organization → Report settings is where your identity lives. What you set here appears on locate reports, plot sheets and cut sheets without anybody having to remember to add it.

  • Display name and tagline.
  • A wide lockup logo, for title blocks and letterheads.
  • A square icon logo, for tight or near-square spaces.
  • A primary colour, used for headings and accent rules.

Upload both shapes

Plot sheets pick whichever artwork suits the space they have. With both uploaded, a wide title block gets the lockup and a square corner gets the icon, automatically.

Standards your whole office shares

Set once, used by everyone:

  • Point styles, your own symbols alongside the built-in catalogue.
  • Plot templates, save a sheet design and star one as the default new sheets start from.
  • Job numbering, an organization-wide starting number for locate reports, with a per-report override.
  • Blocks, survey symbols made from your own drawing.
